Parties can seek emergency arbitration for urgent relief prior to the formation of the full tribunal. An Emergency Arbitrator will be swiftly appointed to implement interim measures, ensuring timely protection of the requesting party’s rights until the full arbitration proceedings commence.

A Party that wishes to seek emergency interim relief may, prior to the constitution of the Arbitral Tribunal, file an application for emergency interim relief with the Registrar. The Party shall, at the same time as it files the application for emergency interim relief, send a copy of the application to all other Parties. The application for emergency interim relief shall include:
The nature of the relief sought;
The reasons why the Party is entitled to such relief; and
A statement certifying that all other Parties have been provided with a copy of the application or, if not,
an explanation of the steps taken in good faith to provide a copy or notification to all other Parties.
